Coldbeat: "...Well, before we get into the post itself I would like to give a few words about this blog post. Since the last Beatport genre changes, is important for us to understand which are the genres currently being accepted on Beatport via distribution. Both, genres and sub-genres, are listed below..."

**As of August 14, 2017 Beatport will be adding three new genres to the store:
     Leftfield Bass* (incl. sub-genres:  Deep Dubstep; Juke / Footwork; Global Bass)
     Garage / Bassline / Grime (incl. sub-genres:  Garage; Bassline; Grime)
     Trap / Future Bass (incl. sub-genres:  Trap; Future Bass; Twerk)
*Please note that Leftfield Bass will be a curated genre only and cannot be delivered as a primary genre via XML.  Also, all sub-genres will be exclusively assigned by our curation team.  If submitted via XML sub-genres will be omitted during ingestion.
Listed below are all genres currently accepted via delivery to Beatport, including the proper XML notation for each:
Sub-genres cannot be delivered via XML.  If you wish to assign a sub-genre to a particular track/release please reach out to our Genre Support team.

With his most recent 3 track EP release “Beautiful Faults” being featured in the Juno download recommendations, we recently had the chance to sit down with one of EHTraxx’s well-known electro house producers Kid Optimus.
