An Update On Beatport Services And More

Ok, let's get straight to the point, as most of you already know Beatport announced on May 10 that they would be terminating many of their services, including the new streaming platform, you can read the full Beatport statement by clicking HERE. The fact is that they have decided to terminate the streaming service right after we have finished updating ALL OUR STREAMING links at our pages. It sucks because now we have to update everything again.

A big part of our players are back online, and as you may have noticed we'll be using both, Bandcamp and YouTube embeddable players. But for at least half of our release catalogue, we still have a lot of work to do to update those players and have them working again. We apologize about the situation but there's nothing we can do here but work hard to bring all players back online as soon as we can, please be patient and stick with us during this change.

In addition we're moving our content back to our first home, the www.coldwaverecords.com website. If you're working with us since the very beginning you may remember that it was the first address we had, the first website, and as part of new plans for Coldwave Records and associated brands, we're splitting up from EH Mídia, that will be focusing in the Brazilian market soon after a new marketing planning. Don't worry, everything else is the same, actually, not quite since each brand has grown a lot lately and we're proud of every new tool, feature and partnership we offer, every day we come up with something new to help artists all over the world to get the most out of their music with the best promotions and distribution tools available. But as we are moving the content from EH Mídia to the new Coldwave Records website, you may have to update your bookmarks, many old eh-midia.com links will be down soon.

Last but not least, the Blog now will have my name on it... that's right, Coldbeat Blog. since I am the only writer here (yeayeah.. I know, many posts are from other Blogs, but still...) it makes sense using my name as "Blog signature".
